When you use the maximum bid option it enables you to be sure that your bid is placed in position and will be proxy bid by the server only up to your maximum if needed to win during the live portion. In the simulcast live segment there is very limited time and there is an urgent need to respond quickly to stay in the race. Be sure to click on the live auction link that is available just prior to the auction start. It is a different window that shows only the current lot up on the block and a bidder button. Please do not use penny or $1 bids this is a live on-site and online simulcast auction where the auctioneer cannot work with odd bids and will round down your bid if you do this. |
